Printed rewards are here!

It has been a very busy couple of weeks as Team Lonk Headquarters so prepare yourselves for a flurry of Updates.  There is literally too much news to put in just one update ...

The first big win is that we are delighted to have completed all our printed rewards - that's the Totes, Tea Towels, Greetings Cards and postcards.  And we are pretty chuffed with them all!

Project Lonk tote bag

The Totes and Tea Towels have been designed by "Our Zoe" and screen printed by hand by the fabulous Amy Mellis at The Egg Factory in Hebden Bridge.  Amy is a screen printer extraordinaire and has used organic, water based inks on our 100% organic unbleached cotton totes and towels.  For those of you who are not local The Egg Factory is a female-run co-operative and co-working space for creatives - Nic was lucky enough to use Studio space there for her machine knitting at the start of her business.  Our screen printed goods are just one of the ways we are giving back to the local Community through your support of Project Lonk!  You can read more about Amy and her work HERE.

And also hot off the press (quite literally!) are our greetings cards which have also been printed just at the bottom of the hill in Hebden Bridge by Print Bureau.  Another local business who have been a pleasure to work with!  You can see all about them HERE.

Now that our goods are starting to arrive with us we will begin posting out the first of our rewards from next week.  This is exciting (and also nerve wracking!) so please keep an eye on your emails because as soon as we are ready to send your rewards you will receive a questionnaire asking you to confirm your postal address details and asking anything else we need to know!

And don't worry if you have been bowled over by the beauty of our bags, towels and cards and you didn't add any to your pledge, you will get the opportunity to do this before your yarn ships and they will also be available via our website (the subject for another imminent update!).

We also have some very exciting news of progress on the yarn front so watch this space for that update!

Thank You Postcards
